Who is this for?

This program is for the dancer that wants to feel stronger, reduce injury risk, see better technique, less aches + pains. It is designed for dancer’s weaknesses, so any level is welcome! It is recommended you be 11 years or older. Please reach out if your child is younger + you would like assistance.

I'm not a professional dancer, can I join?

Absolutely. Most of the dancers in this program are NOT professionals. They are looking to improve + reach PERSONAL dance goals. All levels are welcome.

How long is the program?

You have two options, the 1 Year Strength Program or the 3 Month Strength Program. I highly suggest the 1 Year.

Do I need a gym or weights?

No, you do not need access to gym or offical weights. 

We do use weights in this program, but I teach you how to make them out of things at home. If you do have access to a gym or weights, you are encouraged to take advantage of it when you can, but the program is built off the assumption you do not. 

 

What is the difference between the 3 Month + 1 Year Programs?

Consider the 3 Month Program your “general” strength work for dancers. This is work tailored towards the most common dancer weaknesses. You will walk away knowing how to do our basic strength + conditioning movements, core work, + alignment for class. 

The 1 Year Program is where you are going to get MY best gems. You will have all the work from the 3 Month Program PLUS ALL the Dance specific topics like, turnout, mobility, extension, jumping, arabesque etc. This is truly what the DANCER STRONG™ approach is about + is the BEST “bang for you buck” in working with me. 

 

Can I do payment installments?

Yes, you may choose to break your payment into three payments for the first 3 months of the 1 Year DANCER STRONG™ Program.

Can I pause the program?

Injuries happen, I get it. If you get injured in class + have a doctors note, I am happy to pause your program as long as your doctor sees fit!

Life happens, + we get behind. Part of the DANCER STRONG™ philosophy is learning how to balance dance, training, + life. We do not work every day so you CAN catch up, + we do not need to over work the body in that way! 

If at the end of the program you would like to continue your access to the library of exercises + workouts, you can pay a small app usage fee per month for as long as you wish! This is great to continue your work, or catch up on what’s needed. 

 

I have an injury, is this program for me?

Please reach out via email or instagram to ask about your specific injury. In many cases, this program fits nicely into your routine after injury. If you are not cleared to exercise yet, this program would be better used after you are cleared by your doctor.
